A set of phonics tubs designed to support the teaching of the 44 sounds in the English language.

Each tub showcases a variety of items, illustrating how different spellings can produce the same sound.

These phonics tubs offer a structured approach to introducing initial sounds, making them ideal for whole class phonics teaching. They provide an effective tool for both assessment and revision by offering a hands-on experience that enhances learning. Each tub, labelled for easy organisation, ensures users can easily organise and return resources after use.

Aligned with the Key Stage 1 curriculum, these tubs aid in writing transcription and spelling. They cover naming letters of the alphabet and spelling words containing the 40+ phonemes already taught and enhance reading skills by helping students apply phonic knowledge to decode words and quickly respond with the correct sound to graphemes.
Durable plastic construction makes up the set of 44 tubs, each containing 3-6 pieces. This comprehensive resource develops phonemic and phonological awareness, serving as a valuable addition to phonics teaching resources.
