TTS Build-a-House Class Kit

A STEM kit for 30 children to design and build model houses with working doorbells and lights.

Overview

Children learn about series circuits, including cells, wires, switches, and buzzers, applying their knowledge to create working models.

Classrooms need engaging STEM kits to enhance learning. The build a house kit meets this need by allowing children to design and create their own model houses, making understanding electrical systems both fun and interactive.

This hands-on STEM kit enhances children’s understanding of electrical systems and fosters creativity. By constructing a working doorbell and light, it makes learning immersive and practical. Supporting literature such as lesson plans and PowerPoint presentations aids interactive classroom learning.
Aligned with the UK curriculum for Design & Technology, the kit helps children use electrical systems in their projects. The kit also sparks creativity, allowing children to decorate and create figures for their houses. It contains components like cardboard boxes, plastic sheets, bulb and battery holders, switches, buzzers, and decoration items like foam sheets and pipe cleaners.
