A comprehensive set that illuminates the relationships between ones, tens, hundreds, and thousands.

This set directly links to the decimal system, enhancing understanding of multiplication and division by 10.

The Multi-Coloured Base 10 Group Set serves as an engaging tool to demystify the relationships between units, tens, hundreds, and thousands, making abstract mathematical concepts concrete. It significantly aids in teaching early addition, subtraction, place value, and algebra. The use of distinct colours for each unit measure assists children in easily distinguishing values.

Crucial for visualising numbers and teaching basic arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division by 10s, the blocks are marked in centimetre squares to illustrate the correlation between units. This feature enriches children’s understanding of mathematical principles.
The set is designed for collaborative learning, accommodating up to four groups with its contents of 100 yellow cubes (ones), 50 green rods (tens), 30 blue flats (hundreds), and 4 red blocks (thousands). It aligns with Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum requirements, making it a vital resource for mathematics education.
