Helping to Support Teaching and Learning

Interlocking Pieces for Numeracy Skills: This resource features interlocking pieces that combine numerals, written numbers, and visual representations, enhancing children’s ability to link numerals with corresponding amounts effectively.
Supports Subitising Development: Designed to develop the concept of subitising, this set allows children to recognise number patterns without counting, fostering quicker and more confident numerical recognition.
Enhances Counting Abilities: By encouraging the matching of pictures, numbers, and amounts, this set supports the enhancement of useful counting skills among early years learners.
Diverse Building Resources: This resource fosters a hands-on approach to mathematics, encouraging children to build and explore different numbers and their structures, enriching their numeracy and problem-solving skills.
Exploration of Number Composition: Children can explore and understand the composition of numbers up to ten, aiding their mathematical development and confidence in number handling.

Enhance early numeracy with a set of 20 three-part rockets, aiding numeral to quantity linkage.

Link pieces featuring numbers, words, and visuals to construct rockets, promoting numeracy in a fun, interactive manner.

This educational resource offers a hands-on approach to early mathematics, suitable for children aged three to seven years. Each of the 20 rockets comprises three parts, designed to represent a numeral, its corresponding word, and a visual depiction of the amount. Children can explore concepts of counting, numeral recognition, and number composition through engaging play.

The versatility of the sets encourages practitioners to use them in various educational settings, ensuring children interact with mathematics in a visually stimulating and tactile way. This dynamic method of learning helps solidify foundational maths skills crucial in early childhood development.
By aligning with EYFS curriculum goals, this resource supports the development of key mathematical skills while ensuring learning remains fun and engaging. As children match numbers to quantities and fit pieces together, they gain confidence and a deeper understanding of numeracy.
