Helping to Support Teaching and Learning

Interactive Recording: Children need opportunities to practice pronunciation and enhance spoken language skills. Record-A-Board allows them to record and play back their voices, using features to improve language abilities.
Supports Transcription: The need to align with Year 2 English curriculum objectives focuses on enhancing transcription skills. Children can achieve this by writing from memory simple sentences dictated by the teacher.
Builds Vocabulary: To support language engagement, children expand their vocabulary through relevant strategies. The Record-A-Board promotes effective vocabulary building with its interactive approach.
Enhances Listening Skills: Children need to self-assess and improve their listening skills to reinforce language concepts learned in class. Listening to their own recordings helps in this process.
Year 2 Writing Focus: Year 2 curriculum focuses on writing from memory with common exception words. Record-A-Board aids transcription skills through practice aligned with these objectives.

Support learning across the curriculum with this interactive audio board for recording and playback.

The whiteboards sit in a recordable unit with four colour coded buttons, each offering a 30 second recording time.

Children often need support in developing their spoken language skills and building their vocabulary effectively. The Record-A-Board addresses this educational need by allowing children to record and play back their own voices. This tool is designed to enhance learning by enabling children to practice pronunciation and refine their language skills.
Curriculum uses are endless and the board can be used in the teaching of phonics and sentence structures, the creation of storyboards, practising times tables and foreign language skills and for interventions. Includes a volume control and is rechargeable via USB C.
The 2 double sided boards are write on/wipe off with the option of a lined, gridded or blank surface.

In English lessons at Key Stage 1, teachers can utilise this resource to help children articulate their thoughts clearly. By recording simple sentences, children can improve their transcription skills, aligning with curriculum goals such as writing from memory and using common exception words.
Additionally, the Record-A-Board aids in developing listening skills as children listen to their recordings and self-assess their progress. This interactive approach not only engages children but also reinforces their understanding of language concepts taught in class.
