Helping to Support Teaching and Learning

Durable Construction: Children need durable blocks for consistent support in geometry lessons. These blocks are made from strong plastic to withstand regular classroom use, ensuring long-term usability.
Variety of Shapes: Children need a variety of shapes to explore geometric attributes effectively. This set includes 60 blocks in five shapes, two sizes, two thicknesses, and three colours.
Supports Geometry Learning: Children need hands-on experience with 2-D and 3-D shapes to learn geometry. This set aids in teaching geometry and aligns with curriculum goals for recognising and naming shapes.
Organised Storage: Teachers need easy storage options to keep learning environments tidy. This set comes with a handy storage tray for organised storage, making the blocks easy to access and keep organised.
Year 1 Focus: Year 1 children need to recognise and name common 2-D and 3-D shapes. This set helps them understand basic geometric properties and aligns with the curriculum aim.

Encourage children to explore geometric shape relationships and properties with this versatile set.

Includes 60 durable blocks in various shapes, sizes, thicknesses, and colours with a handy storage tray for easy organisation.

Children need to understand geometric relationships. This set enhances their understanding of geometry through hands-on learning. It includes 60 blocks in various shapes, sizes, thicknesses, and colours, all made from durable plastic designed to withstand regular classroom use, and comes with a handy storage tray for easy organisation.

In Year 1, children can use these blocks to recognise and name common 2-D and 3-D shapes, aligning with the curriculum’s focus on geometry properties. By manipulating the blocks, children gain a tactile understanding of shape attributes, enhancing their ability to identify and describe them accurately.
For Year 2 and Year 3, the set supports more advanced geometry topics, such as identifying horizontal and vertical lines, pairs of perpendicular and parallel lines, and understanding line symmetry. This practical approach helps solidify theoretical concepts, making abstract ideas more accessible and engaging for children.
