TTS Tactile Reader Pro and Blue-Bot Bundle

Interactive bundle for programming education with Tactile Reader Pro and Blue-Bot.

Overview

Enhance programming skills with this interactive bundle, featuring a Tactile Reader Pro and Blue-Bot for hands-on learning experiences.

In today’s digital world, understanding programming is essential for children.
With the Tactile Reader, children can create sequences by placing the tiles in order, each representing a different command. It allows young learners to build and de-bug algorithms for the included Blue-Bot. The tiles feature directional commands representing the following movements, forwards, backwards, left (90°) and right (90°). A pause command is also included. Children can learn to create, troubleshoot and refine their programs and debugging is simplified as each tile lights up when working through the sequence.
Using Bluetooth connectivity, the Tactile Reader is compatible with the programmable Blue-Bot. A perfect starting point for teaching control, directional language and programming, Blue-Bot has a memory of up to 200 steps and can be controlled manually, or via tablet or the Tactile Reader.
The extension pack of 25 tiles introduces to children to more complex programming concepts. With tiles included for 45-degree turns and multiple repeat commands, it enables children to experiment with loops.

For Key Stage 1, it aids children in understanding algorithms and their applications on digital devices. They learn how programs execute by following clear instructions, reinforcing foundational computing concepts. It is a useful tool for developing programming skills.
For Key Stage 2, it supports designing, writing, and debugging programs that achieve specific goals. It helps in controlling or simulating physical systems, encouraging problem-solving by breaking problems into parts, aligning with curriculum requirements.

Supports the National Curriculum

Computing, Key Stage 1

Create and debug simple programs.

Computing, Key Stage 2

Design, write and debug programs that accomplish specific goals, including controlling or simulating physical systems and solve problems by decomposing them into smaller parts.

Computing, Key Stage 1

Understand what algorithms are, how they are implemented as programs on digital devices, and that programs execute by following precise and unambiguous instructions.
